I could have let what happened to my family crush my happiness and my dreams. I could have lost faith, but I didn't. By the grace of God, I didn't.
I could have turned out worse if I hadn't put full faith in God. I could have gone into a deep depression. I could have hated the world and every one in it. But instead, He kept me. Instead, I stayed happy. The endless prayers and love I received kept me steady. The people---like my best friend---who never gave up on me or treated me differently because of my situation, kept me steady. I couldn't have done it alone. I needed the love, support and prayer. I needed God! ~ Isabel Overton "By the grace of God, I am what I am." 1 Corinthians 15:10 |

Just a quick life update. God has been doing SOOO MUCH! Meaning I haven't had much time for social media. But let me me just say for everyone who has been asking...being in Waco has been so life giving!
God is reshaping how I see Him and myself. I have seen and experienced God in miraculous ways. I have seen heaven on earth in ways I didn't know were possible. I am truly so happy here. I have made the most amazing friends and have been pursuing Jesus radically. There is so much I want to tell everyone. Thank you so much everyone who has been praying for me! It means the world to me! In the near future I want to send out an update with more information and stories of the amazing things God is doing. Thank you everyone!! Love you guys!! ~Isaac Overton |
