Continue to remember
those in prison as if
you were together
with them in prison,
and those who are
mistreated as if you
yourselves were
suffering.

Encouraging Notes Ministry

 Encouraging Notes Ministry

As we move into 2023, we have some exciting news! Our Bible study ministry has grown by leaps and bounds! The high number of participants is astounding, and the response blesses us. However, it also means we now have too many people to maintain the Pen Pal program as it is and run it adequately.

But no worries. God always has good plans, and He has directed us to a fantastic alternative..an encouraging notes ministry. The New Encouraging Notes Ministry will be better because it will ensure that everyone involved in our Bible Study Program receives an encouraging note once a month.

We would like to know if you would want to be involved. Please pray about helping us make this happen. We would love to have your help! The level of commitment on your part would be about one-two hours a month.

How does the New Encouraging Notes Ministry work?
If 200 people commit to writing twelve (12) short notes a month, everyone who is signed up for the Bible study will receive a piece of mail each month. And you will no longer need to worry about getting the notes to the individual women because the ladies in our discipleship school will address and send them out. Instead, you will just send your notes to us.
If you commit to the Encouraging Notes Ministry, you will:
  • Print one of the PDF's below. Each page contains four  notes.
  • Print three (3) copies of this PDF.
  • Cut each Encouraging Notes page into four.
  • Write one encouraging scripture and a short uplifting note on the back of each.
  • Include stamps in your envelope to help with postage. (optional)
  • Send your twelve (12) notes to us at:

Background on the Encouraging Notes
As COVID hit its worst, we began to get churches involved in writing some encouraging notes. The response from the ladies inside the prisons was overwhelming. We trusted the Lord to guide which note went to which lady.  It was amazing to get many letters back saying the note they received had the perfect verse or said just what was needed. We even received multiple letters saying these notes prevented suicide attempts because of the hope given.

Getting mail in such a dark and lonely place can be life-changing! We are so excited to see what God does with this new stage of ministry! Please let us know if you are interested in joining us in this new endeavor.
P.S. (If you already have a Pen Pal who you correspond with, and you would like to continue to write her, that would be a bonus.)

SYNDEO  (Greek) Bound with them
This word has two meanings:
1. bound in chains; to a prisoner, as a prisoner
2. bound, connected in heart, as all believers should be
