Christmas in White!
Every year, we travel to Texas prisons and distribute hygiene products to incarcerated women. Unfortunately, these prisons only give meager toiletries to the women. The shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant and soap we take in are often the only hygiene products the women receive all year. Can you believe they make it last that long? It honestly makes such a difference! Each year, we also give the women a few other gifts, like hair ties, lip balm, combs, palm brushes, or wash cloths. Plus, each woman is given 4 Christmas cards and 4 envelopes to send home to their kids and family members. Churches and individuals all over the United States partner with Syndeo Ministries to provide Christmas for the women who are behind bars. Each year, to help raise funds for this amazing outreach opportunity, Syndeo Ministries offers Christmas cards drawn by our talented women. Your donations towards these cards could change somebody’s life! Christmas in White started with one unit, but in 2024, our tenth Christmas in White, we have the honor of providing Christmas to sixteen women’s units in Texas. That's almost 10,000 women! Our hope is to eventually include every women’s unit in Texas! Would you like to donate the items? Many people have asked us to post the items we will be distributing, so they can help us to collect them. Since we give out so many items, we could definitely use your help gathering this large quantity!
The items need to be specific products, because the hygiene products we deliver to the ladies need to be approved months in advance of the outreach, and only these approved items can be taken to the ladies.
